Workplace Accommodations

Workplace accommodation means modifying the work environment so that employees with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions can perform their roles safely, effectively, and without unnecessary barriers. Under the Canadian Human Rights Act and BC's Human Rights Code, employers have a legal duty to accommodate employees with disabilities, up to the point of undue hardship. You have the right to ask for what you need to succeed at work.
