Autism Funding
What is Autism Funding?
In British Columbia, Canada, the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD) provides funding for various support services aimed at skill development for individuals diagnosed with Autism. At our clinic, this funding may be applied to counselling services specifically for members of the individual’s immediate family members.

Using Autism Funding at Neurodiversity Wellness Collective
-
Families must first apply to the British Columbia Autism Funding program through the Ministry of Children and Family Development and receive an official approval letter before beginning funded counselling services at Neurodiversity Wellness Collective. Once approved, please email your approval letter to our clinic to begin using Autism Funding for services.
-
After receiving Autism Funding approval, families must complete the Request to Pay (RTP) through their MyFamilyServices portal to authorize the MCFD to pay Neurodiversity Wellness Collective directly for eligible counselling services.
The required forms with the necessary information are provided below. Once submitted, please email us proof of your RTP submission, including Neurodiversity Wellness Collective as the provider and the requested service dates.
Counselling services may be scheduled only after this authorization has been issued and provider approval has been confirmed within MyFamilyServices.
-
You will receive a Funding Consent Form through our practice management system (Jane). This form authorizes Neurodiversity Wellness Collective to charge your credit card for no-shows, late cancellations, or any sessions not covered by Autism Funding (AFU).
