How Direct Billing Works
1. Confirm Your Coverage
Before your appointment, please confirm with your insurance provider that counselling services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) are covered under your specific plan. Coverage varies by plan and may include annual limits, co-payments, or reimbursement caps.
2. Provide Your Insurance Information
If you are eligible for direct billing, you may add your insurance details to your intake form prior to your session.
3. Claim Submission
Following your session, the clinic will submit the eligible portion of the session fee directly to your insurance provider when direct billing is supported.
4. Payment of Any Remaining Balance
If your insurance plan does not cover the full session fee, or if a claim is partially paid, denied, delayed, or benefits are exhausted, the remaining balance is your responsibility. Any unpaid amount will be charged to the credit card on file in accordance with our Direct Billing and Insurance Policy.
