Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About This Role

We are looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner to join NWC on a contract basis to provide neurodivergent-affirming assessment and ongoing medication management for neurodivergent adults. This is not a high-volume, transactional role, we are looking for a practitioner who approaches care holistically and understands that medication management for neurodivergent adults is inseparable from identity, experience, and context.

Assessment at NWC will be grounded in the CARES framework, Collaborative Understanding, Accessibility, Recognizing Intersectionality, Empowerment, and Strengths Recognition, a neurodivergent-affirming model for collaborative psychological assessment. The FNP joining NWC will be expected to apply this model in practice.

  • Order and interpret relevant lab work to rule out physical contributors to presenting concerns where appropriate

  • Communicate with clients in affirming, non-pathologizing, identity-first language throughout
